Our Advanced courses are all Postgraduate qualifications in sustainable aquaculture at the University of St Andrews. These range from Postgraduate Certificates, Postgraduate Diploma and Masters. It is also possible to enrol for individual modules with the option of building up to a qualification over a longer period of time.

This course, which awards a formal undergraduate certificate qualification, is ideal for those who do not have a degree and wish to study sustainable aquaculture to develop their career. The course covers the Aquaculture Industry, Fish and Invertebrate Biology, alongside one of the 3 “Introduction” modules listed below (these can also be taken as stand-alone courses). Satisfactory completion of this qualification can act as an entry requirement for our Postgraduate Diploma/Masters in Sustainable Aquaculture.

Our Sustainable Aquaculture Postgraduate modules are each available as shorter 12 week courses. These allow students to focus their studies on specific areas of interest or to study for a Postgraduate qualification in a more manageable way. The modules on offer provide students with credits towards a full Postgraduate qualification. Each module is worth either 10 or 20 credits.
